Hello there! My name is Mark Easton and I teach physical education at both Edgewood and Raymond Elementary. I am a graduate of Capital University, where I received my bachelor’s degree in Physical Education.  As a graduate of Marysville in 2002, I am very excited to have the opportunity to teach in my hometown. I also enjoy spending my time participating in different sports outside of school, as well as, cheering on my favorite teams! (Cincinnati Reds, Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Cavaliers, and of course THE Ohio State Buckeyes!)

In Physical Education, students are introduced to a variety of locomotor and non-locomotor skills. They will engage in these skills through organized educational games and through a variety of group/individualized activities. I look forward to helping your kids learn the importance of being active, and it is my mission to maximize my students’ self-esteem and self-confidence in order to promote the importance of maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle. I am very excited for another year with my Raymond students, and look forward to all the activities and games we get to participate in.

My name is Danielle Caldwell.  I teach K-4 Visual Arts at Raymond Elementary and Mill Valley Elementary.  This is my 12th year of teaching with Marysville Exempted Village Schools.  I am a graduate of Columbus College of Art and Design and Ohio Dominican University.  I live here in Marysville with my two children. I enjoy creating art with the littles! Outside of school we enjoy swimming, adventures to our local metro parks and listening to music.

My name is Megan Cordonnier.  2018-2019 is my fourth year at Raymond!  I teach technology and library to all students.  In library we read all different genres of books and enjoy visits from Kate McCartney with the Marysville Public Library.  We also create in our makerspace, tapping into our creative skills and trying new things. Once a month we spread kindness by making kindness cards for different groups - like deployed military, police and firefighters.  I'm always looking for new groups to create cards for - please contact me if you have any ideas!

In technology, we learn about computers.  Starting at the youngest grades, we log onto the desktop computers and work on keyboarding skills.  Keyboarding is an essential skill where we focus a lot of attention. We learn some coding and how to use all the programs offered in Google.

I live in Marysville with my husband and two children.  My daughter is a 7th grader at Bunsold and my son is a 4th grader here at Raymond!  I grew up in Amherst and graduated from THE Ohio State University with my undergraduate degree in 2001 and my master's degree in 2002.  Go Bucks! We moved around a bit for my husband's job but have been in Marysville for five years. I enjoy swimming, golfing, running, kayaking, reading, watching sports and traveling.

I'm looking forward to another fantastic year at Raymond!

Hello, my name is Machelle Sharrock and I am the Music teacher at Raymond and Mill Valley Elementary. I have been teaching for 27 years in the Marysville School District.  I received a Bachelor in Music Education from Otterbein University and a Masters in Early Childhood Education from Ashland University. My husband and I live in Marysville with our 2 children.

In music class students make music with their voices and instruments. Students discover their own talents so they can appreciate and participate in music their whole life.   Activities in Music class help to instill qualities such as creativity, teamwork and respect. I am looking forward to a great year!
