Hello! My name is Adrienne Darah and I am the speech-language pathologist at Raymond Elementary. This is my third year working at Raymond and I absolutely love working with the staff, students, and families at this school! While I primarily work with students on IEPs for speech and language needs, I also have the opportunity to provide additional literacy services to Raymond students who need a little extra reading support. Throughout the week, I also split my time working with students at Bunsold Middle School. I received both my undergraduate and graduate degrees at The Ohio State University- Go Bucks! In my free time, I love to spend time with family and friends. I also enjoy running, reading, being outside, and cooking/baking. I'm excited for a wonderful school year!

Hi!  I’m Candy Malhotra, School Psychologist.  I have worked in Marysville Schools since 2001, coming from Hilliard Schools.  I have a Bachelor of Science Degree from Mankato State University (Now known as Minnesota State University, Mankato) and a Master of Arts degree in School Psychology from The Ohio State University.  I grew up in Sioux City, Iowa the youngest of eight kids. I live in Springfield currently but lived in Marysville and raised both of my beautiful daughters here before moving ‘south’. I have enjoyed my tenure in Marysville Schools where I have primarily worked at the preschool (The Harold Lewis Center).  I have also been Raymond’s psychologist since 2008, with the exception of a couple of years. I love Raymond!! In my spare time, I like CrossFit, running, reading and traveling. My favorite cities to visit include Washington, DC, Charleston, SC, Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, CA. I absolutely love being with my family, especially when I can cook for them!!  My husband and I are in the middle of remodeling the kitchen of our farmhouse built in 1860. We can’t wait for the updates to be finished for our future family gatherings. My daughter is recently engaged and will get married in December!

Hi! My name is Renee Roth.  I am so excited to begin my 18th year here at Raymond Elementary!!!  I LOVE this place!!!

A little bit about myself~ I grew up in a small town, Wapakoneta, OH.  The home of Neil Armstrong! I completed my B.S. in Education at Bowling Green State University.

I began my teaching career at Lima City Schools in 1995.  During this time, I got married and moved to Powell. At that point, I taught for three years at North Union Schools.  I began teaching for Marysville Schools in 2000 and the rest is history!

Like many others, I’m a HUGE Buckeye fan.  We love sports at our house. I have a son, who in 8th grade this year!  I look forward to another GREAT year!!!

My name is Judy VanDuzen and I am one of the Reading Specialists. I am starting my 38th year of teaching. I am a graduate of Marysville High School and Miami University. I earned my National Board Certification in 2001. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, baking, and working in my flower gardens.

My name is Nathan Stackhouse and I have been Raymond’s school counselor since 2014.  I am a graduate of Bowling Green State University. At BGSU, I received a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and a Master’s Degree in School Counseling.  Recently, I enrolled back in school at the American College of Education. I received a masters degree in educational leadership and curriculum and instruction.

In 2007, I began my career as a K-5 school counselor in Bullhead City, Arizona.  After two instrumental years I returned back to home to this great state to be near my family.  Upon returning I have been employed as a school counselor by the Jefferson Local School District (2009-2012) and the Jonathan Alder Local School District (2012-2014).  Having graduated from MHS in 2001, I was blessed to be given the opportunity of returning to back home to Marysville to continue my career as a PROUD MONARCH!

Today, my wife Erika and I live here in Marysville and have 4 children aged 19, 14, 8, and 3.  My hobbies and interests include traveling, sand volleyball, country music and cheering on my Cleveland/OSU Teams.

Hi, my name is Bethann Morey and I am half-time reading specialist, half-time staff development coach. My role as staff development coach is not to coach a sport but rather support teachers with next steps in their instructional practice, implementing district initiatives, provide on the job professional development, and be a thought partner. In my reading specialist role, I work with students and classroom teachers to provide reading instruction that fits the needs of each reader at Raymond.

I grew up in Elyria. I completed my B.S. in Education at Bowling Green State University, completed my masters in School Counseling and my license to be a principal with the University of Dayton.  My first two years of teaching were in Madison Plains Schools where I taught first grade at Fairfield Elementary. The school was very much like our original part of Raymond. Then, I came to Marysville Schools in 2000. I have been at Raymond since then teaching various grade levels from Kindergarten through third grade and now as a reading specialist.

My husband Rob and I live outside of Broadway with our 4 children.  Nathan is in 11th grade at the ECHS, Meghan is an eighth grader at Bunsold, Owen is a third grader here at Raymond and Joseph is 3 years old loving life and trying to keep up with the pack.  In my free time I like to go for walks or read. I am fortunate to be able to live, work, and play in our great community!
