Kindergarten & Alternative Kindergarten Registration 2021-2022 


If your child will be five years of age by September 30, 2021, your child is eligible to attend kindergarten. Kindergarten students attend all day, every day.


Alternative Kindergarten is a step between preschool and full-day kindergarten.  Any student whose birthday falls between May 1 and September 30, 2016, is eligible. 

Please call Shannon Bretz, MEVSD District Registrar, to start the registration process for Kindergarten and/or Alternative Kindergarten Registration process: 937-578-6145.

RETURN TO SCHOOL INFORMATION


August 18th: Staggered Start Day #1 for Grades 1-4, last names beginning with (A-M)
August 19th: Staggered Start Day #2 for Grdes 1-4, last names beginning with (N-Z)
August 18, 19, 20: KRA Assessment for Kindergarten students (by appointment only)
August 20: First day for all students Grades 1-4
August 23: First day for all Kindergarten Students



Marysville Schools will continue to collect "Back to School" information via an online format for Alt. K-12 parents for the 2021-2022 school year.  Parents will submit required "Back to School" information via your PowerSchool Parent Portal.  The PowerSchool Parent Portal is the same program in which you access your child’s online report card and or how you recently enrolled your child in our district.  


Parents will be able to access "Back to School" information via your PowerSchool Parent Portal in early August.  A more specific date will be shared later this summer along with further information pertaining to the process.  Information will be communicated via email as well as posted to the district website and your child’s school website. 


If you are unable to access your PowerSchool Parent Portal, please contact your child's school office now before the end of the school year or in early August for assistance.  You can also utilize the “Forgot Username or Password” option, if needed.  


In early August, if you are unable to access the internet or experience difficulties, computer access will be made available during Open House and or Back to School Registration events at your child's school.  School fees can be paid online or in person at your child’s Open House and or Back to School Registration events.  


This approach to submitting  "Back to School" information will continue to provide opportunities for greater efficiencies and effectiveness for parents and staff.

We welcome volunteers at Navin Elementary!!  

If you are interested in volunteering in your child's classroom or for Navin Field Day (May), you MUST complete a Screenpointe Background Check form.  Please print, complete and return to the Navin Office.  You can also request a hard copy from the Navin Office.  This is no cost to our volunteers!
