Sue Devine and her husband Steve, a Marysville graduate, moved back to Marysville in 1994. Their three children, Stephanie, Paul and Connor, attended and graduated from Marysville Schools. Sue was the past Director of Finance and Development for the Union County Foundation, and currently serves on the Union County Chamber of Commerce Board of Trustees as the education representative. Sue has received both the Ohio School Boards Association Award of Achievement and Master Board Member Award (a lifetime distinction) based on her commitment to learning and leadership.
Dick Smith and his wife, Linda, have made Marysville their family's home since 1971. Their sons, Matt and Chris, attended and graduated from the Marysville Schools system. Currently, 4 of Dick’s 5 grandchildren attend Marysville Schools attending Bunsold, MHS and MECHS. Dick retired from Marysville Schools after teaching and coaching for thirty-nine years. He previously served the community on several boards for the Union County Courts as well as City commissions. Dick has earned the OSBA Award of Achievement 3 times, the 4 OSBA STAR Awards and will receive the Master School Board Award this Fall.
Bill Keck and his wife, Gail, have lived on their family farm near Raymond since 1989. Their three children, Ellen Jones, Carol Hamilton and David Keck are all graduates of the Marysville school system. Bill has a total of 35 years of teaching experience and retired from the Marysville Schools in 2020 after teaching agriculture at Marysville High School for 33 years. He also has five years of experience teaching laboratory pedagogy at The Ohio State University. He is a member of the Northwestern Lions Club, the Marysville FFA alumni and First Lutheran Church in Bellefontaine.
Nan Savidge and her husband, Eric, have made Marysville their home since 2001. They are the parents of two children, Emily (class of 2013) a 6th grade teacher and OSU alumni, and Charlie (class of 2017) Marketing major and recent OU graduate. Nan was formerly a Staff Administrator at Honda of America in Planning and Communications. Since retirement Nan has devoted her time to volunteering in the community and supporting her family. Nan has been a dedicated member of the Marysville School board since appointed in 2015 and then being elected in 2016. Nan has received the Ohio School Board Association “Award of Achievement”. She is committed to education and lifelong learning. As part of her role she is also a board member for Ohio Hi-Point Career Center.
Jermaine Ferguson is a resident of Marysville with his wife Anita and their four young children Judah, Julianna, Alexia, and Alexander. A Marysville graduate of the the class of 2008, a veteran of the United State Marine Corps, and an advocate for children and youth in the child welfare system and the military and veteran community. Jermaine currently serves on various nonprofit and community boards and the Planning Commission of the City of Marysville.
