Kindergarten & Alternative Kindergarten Registration: 2022-2023
On Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at 8:00 AM, parents/guardians may begin the Kindergarten Registration process by visiting our website and submitting an online Express Enrollment entry. Once you submit online, a member of the MEVSD enrollment team will give you a personal phone call within 2 to 3 business days. If your child will be five years of age by September 30, 2022, your child is eligible to attend kindergarten. Kindergarten students attend all day, every day.
On March 1, 2022, parents/guardians may begin contacting Shannon Bretz, MEVSD District Registrar, to start the Alternative Kindergarten Registration process. Alternative Kindergarten is a step between preschool and full-day kindergarten. Any student whose birthday falls between May 1 and September 30, 2017, is eligible. To learn more about the Alternative Kindergarten program, please review this informative brochure and FAQ.
Further information in regards to the Kindergarten and Alternative Kindergarten registration process will be available on this site later in February.
Northwood’s Passion/Hobby Fair 2022
This year we will be hosting the Northwood Passion Hobby Fair in person and/or if you would prefer, via video format. The date is Friday, March 18th, 2022 with a morning session and an afternoon session. You are welcome to stay the entire day and we will provide lunch for those participants that choose to stay. If you choose to submit a video rather than come in person, we would love a short 5 minute or less video explaining your passion/hobby and showing examples of your special area of interest. For example, if you are a photographer, you might want to share some of your photographs, talk about how you started with this interest and share details about the camera. We invite parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and community members to participate in our Passion/ Hobby Fair either in person or via video submission.
Our goal is to have a wide variety of passions or hobbies represented so our students can learn how personal interests can enrich our lives. If you are willing to be a part of this event, please fill out Google Form HERE. We will need the completed video by February 15th, 2022, if you prefer to not do in-person. If you have any questions, please contact Amy Aslaner, School Counselor at 937-578-7100 or [email protected]
