It is an honor and privilege to become the new principal of Raymond Elementary School. I am excited to become a part of the Raymond community. In my interactions with staff and community members, it is very clear that Raymond is a unique and special place.
I grew up in Castleton, New York in a small town similar to Raymond. My parents relocated to central Ohio, where I graduated from high school. I graduated from Loyola University Chicago and spent my first eight years teaching 4th-6th grade and as an Instructional Coach in the Chicagoland area. Four years ago I returned to the Columbus area to teach third grade. I received a Masters in Literacy Education from Northern Illinois University, and most recently completed my Masters in Educational Administration from Concordia University. I live in Dublin and am the mama to a very special cockapoo named Teddy. I enjoy reading, watching football, and spending time with my friends and family.
Please feel free to reach out to me anytime if you have any questions, concerns, or would just like to say hello. I cannot wait to see all the amazing things our students, families, and staff will do this year. Thank you in advance for all of your support.
I am looking forward to a fantastic year!
