News and Events

We would love to see YOU at the next PTO meeting!
Our next PTO meeting will be held on Thursday, March 10th - we hope to see you there!  Doors open at 6:15 for arrivals and social time, and the meeting will begin at 6:30.  Please remember that every parent, guardian, and school employee is a member of the Raymond PTO, and everyone is invited to the meetings - come just to hear what we have to say, help us plan our event, or if you have something you want to share!
Family Paint Night - February 21st
Our annual Family Paint Night is coming up on Friday, February 21st. Doors will open at 6 PM and we will start painting at 6:15 PM. No painting experience necessary and all supplies (including snacks) will be provided for $20/canvas. A flyer with details will be sent home soon. Space is limited to 40 paintings and all spots must be paid for in advance.  Click to RSVP here:
Staff Conference Meals
Parent Teacher Conferences are scheduled for February 27th & March 3rd.   The Raymond staff takes such good care of our kiddos, so it's our turn to take care of the staff!  The PTO will be providing conference night meals for them, but would like to have your help providing desserts, chips and water.  Conference nights make for a roughly 12 hour day for our staff so we like to be sure they have a good meal that they can grab quick in between conferences.  Sign up here to donate.
Book Fair February 25th through March 4th
We will be open in Room 112 in the mornings before school, duing recess times, and in the evenings during conferences. If you'd like to help run the book fair, pleae check out our sign-up link at - it's a lot of fun and you earn a free book!
New this book fair - check out the eWallet that Scholastic offers, so you don't need to send cash to school with your child!  Click the icon to go directly to our bookfair home page for more information and to set up your account!

$5 Raymond tshirts
We have many extra Raymond tshirts from the 2016 batch of shirts.  We would like to clean out that cabinet to make room for new shirts, so we are selling those shirts for just $5 each!  Update:  we found some adult sizes - we have some mediums & 2X!  We still have child small, medium, and large.  Stop by the office or send in $5 payment with a note stating the child or adult size you'd like.

How can I get involved?

EVERY Raymond parent is a member of the PTO, and there are many ways to get involved!  You can get involved by attending monthly meetings to learn and share, volunteer at our special events, provide supplies for special events, participate in fund raisers by buying or selling, or let us know how you'd like to help - we're always open to new ideas!
You can also support Raymond in simple ways every time you shop at Kroger or Amazon, and by collecting Box Tops.  You can get more information below at the bottom of this page - just click the icons.  Thank you!
