THIRD GRADE READING GUARANTEE
Grade 3 students will have multiple opportunities to earn a "promotion" score based on Ohio's Third Grade Reading Guarantee requirements.
During the school year, grade 3 students will have TWO opportunities to take the State of Ohio's English Language Arts assessment as well as TWO opportunities to take a State approved alternate reading assessment provided by Marysville Schools.
If needed during the summer, at-risk grade 3 students will have TWO more opportunities (one State ELA assessment / one State approved alternate reading assessment) to achieve a "promotion" score. Before the two summer testing opportunities, summer intervention will be available for grade 3 students who could be retained due to Third Grade Reading Guarantee requirements.

MHS/ECHS Retakes & ECHS Block Course First Attempt: December 2 - 20
Spring 2020
Grades 3-12 ELA Assessments: April 3 - 24, 2020
Grades 3-12 Math/Science/Social Studies Assessments: April 20 - May 8, 2020
ACT Standard Time Test Date: February 25, 2020 (Juniors Only)
ACT Accommodated Window: February 25 - March 6, 2020 (Juniors Only)
