• The 33rd annual Mock Trial season is here! This year’s case, State of Harmony v. Riley Green, will explore the use of deadly force by a police officer. If you would like to be a part of the 2016 Mock Trial program, please see Mr. Schultz in room D255 to sign up. All students are invited to be a part of the program. Please sign up no later than Friday, October 9th

• The Alliance will be meeting today after school in the studio until 4:00.

• Marysville High School will be offering the PSAT on Wednesday, October 14th. Current 10th and 11th grade students may pay and register for the test in the athletic office. The price of the test is $16. Students must bring exact cash or a check (payable to: Marysville High School). The registration deadline has been extended to this Friday, October 2nd. Quantities are limited. Tests are available on a first-come-first-serve basis.

• Attention any student interested in coming to Tech Club, the next meeting will be today in Room B224 where we will continue dissecting the actual parts a computer. See Mrs. Gordon and Mrs. Burns for questions.

• Sophomores through Seniors! Want to increase your ACT score? MHS is hosting an ACT Test Prep Workshop on October 17th. Students must bring exact cash or a check to the athletic office to sign up. The cost is $40. Mr. Dan Morrison's students have experienced one to four point increases in their scores. A one point increase can make a big difference in scholarships and the college admissions process.

• All students interested in traveling to Spain during Spring break 2016 need to turn in a travel application to Mrs. Adams or their Spanish teacher no later than Friday October 2. You must be enrolled in a Spanish class this year to travel. An informational meeting will be held Thursday October 8 @ 7:00 PM in the Monarch Commons.

• Powder Puff shirts will go on sale thru Weds., Oct.7th. They are $10.00

The games will be played Oct 7th beginning at 6:30. More info about the games coming closer to game date

This year, we will be donating to The Hope Center REFUGE Youth programs

• On Saturday October 3 at 7pm, the MHS Vocal Music Department will present a Broadway Revue called "MHS on Broadway!" This family-friendly show will feature songs from Broadway shows performed by members of the MHS Symphonic and A Cappella choirs.

Tickets are $10 and proceeds will support the Symphonic and A Cappella Choir NYC Trip. You can get tickets by emailing Mrs. Silcott or Mrs. Hainrihar, contacting a choir member, or buying them during lunches at MHS and MECHS.
