Sept. 23-27 kicks off Creekview's Start with Hello Week. This is a nationally recognized celebration started from Sandy Hook Promise. The SAVE Promise students have been hard at work putting together daily activities and events for all to participate in. The weeks activities include:
Monday (9/23): DOT Day: Every student will make a dot out of paper plates to put on the Start with Hello tree. The "dots" should represent each students uniqueness and individuality. Mrs. Borjas will be sharing The Dot Story with her students during library.
Tuesday (9/24): HEY Day: Students will be wearing name tags and are being challenged to meet 3 new people and learn something interesting about them. Students will also complete a Friend Venn Diagram on team.
Wednesday (9/25): YOU Matter: Each student will receive an inspirational note handwritten from the SAVE Promise club members. Students will also complete a social isolation survey during their lunch.
Thursday (9/26): NO One EATS Alone: Students will be permitted to change seating assignments at lunch to make new friends and meet new people. One team, students will play the Human Bingo game to win a prize.
Friday (9/27): GREEN Out: Students are encouraged to wear their favorite shade of Green or their Start with Hello t-shirt. Group pictures of students, wearing their shirts and spelling out HELLO, will be taken.
