Social Emotional Support:
Regardless of the school instructional level throughout the school year, we are committed to supporting your students academic and social emotional needs. Further, we recognize that our students and families have experienced a variety of events and hardships due to the COVID-19 pandemic, closures, and restrictions. We are fully prepared to support the transition to school, reacclimation to a daily schedule, and other potential needs. Our partnerships with the Mental Health & Recovery Board of Union County, Maryhaven, Prevention Awareness Support Services (PASS), OhioGuidestone, Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and the Council for Union County Families allow us to offer a wide range of evidence-based best practices and programming to our students and families. These services include universal delivery of social emotional content to all students (such as reestablishing routines at school, coping with change, and building healthy interpersonal relationships), suicide prevention content within specific grade levels, social emotional screenings, mental health referrals, outreach activities, and school-based mental health services.
