The National Merit Scholarship Corporation released the names of the 2020 National Merit Scholarship Program Semifinalists. Marysville Schools has two semifinalists: Paige Yu from Marysville High School and Adian Dobyns from Marysville Early College High School. These academically talented high school seniors scored in the top 16,000 out of nearly 1.5 million students who took the PSAT. This puts them in the top 1% of all students in the country. They will now be competing for some 7,600 National Merit Scholarships worth more than $31 million dollars next spring. Congratulations on this pretigious honor.
