Summer 2016: Safety Town
Summer 2016: Safety TownThe Union County Health Department, in collaboration with Marysville Schools, the City of Marysville, the Union County Sheriff's Department, the Marysville Police Department, the Marysville Division of Fire, and the OH State Highway Patrol, led a fantastic week of learning designed for youth entering kindergarten. Through the use of music, crafts, videos, books, community speakers and a child-sized town, the children were taught basic safety lessons that they will use for the rest of their lives.

A special thank you needs to go to the adult and youth leaders who volunteered their time to assure the children enjoyed their experience.

Also, thank you to the Union County Humane Society, Memorial Health, Richwood Bank, and Mill Creek Cycle & Skate for their collaboration and support of this wonderful program.
