The EF High School Exchange Year Global Education Excellence Award is presented annually to high schools that demonstrate an extraordinary commitment to international understanding and global awareness. Marysville High School was one of a select group of high schools recognized across the United States for the 2013-14 school year. This award was presented to the school by exchange students at MHS.
This year, MHS welcomed five EF exchange students. Not only were the students accepted into the school, they became an active part of the school's academic and extracurricular life, involving the greater community in the exchange experience. These students are grateful for their experiences in Marysville and the opportunity to experience life in an American High school. There are things we take for granted like Friday night football games, school sports, Homecoming dances, marching band, the prom, Lacrosse, and learning about the Ohio culture. These 5 students will leave in June, but will always have second families here.
