Announcements for Monday, Feb. 23
For any boy interested in playing golf this fall, there will be a brief meeting in
Mr. Wing’s room (A210) on Thursday, February 26th immediately after school. Please plan on attending.
Softball
tryouts start Monday. We will be meeting at 6 : 00 in the yoga room
(old weight room... Not sure what it is called) practice/tryouts will
run all week from 6-9.
Attention
all Monarchs interested in Outdoor Track and Field. There will be a meeting
on Monday Feb. 23rd after school in the Monarch Commons. Come meet the
coaching staff, discuss the upcoming season and prepare for the Monarch Track
and Field Combine. Stop by Coach Sundermeier’s room (D257) for a track
packet if you are unable to attend the meeting.
What do
YOU do on spring breaks? The tour to Italy and Switzerland is
open to all students and YOU are invited. The price will go up a bit in
March so sign up THIS month. Information is in the reception office.
If you
want a 2013-2014 yearbook, they are available at the front office for $75.
Get one before they are gone!
Attention
all students 16 years and older, There will be a RED CROSS BLOOD Drive
Tuesday February 24th. This is during the PARCC testing schedule, periods
1,3,5,and 7 are the classes that meet that day, so be sure to sign up looking
at periods that you have a study hall or during lunch. NO ONE taking
the PARCC tests can donate that day. See Mrs. White in Room C112 to
sign up or the Red Cross Representative will be in all lunches Tuesday Feb. 17th. Thank you in advance for giving the gift of life!
"The
fellowship of Christian athletes will meet tonight (Monday) at 7pm in the
cafeteria. Any student at MHS is welcome to attend for a fun night of games
