Back to School FAQs

Can't wait to see your schedule and meet your teachers?
Come to the STUDENT ONLY orientation on August 15th, 2013.  Orientation is from 7:20 - 9:20 a.m.   Remember to bring your updated Student Information and Emergency Medical Forms!  We have many fun and informative events planned for you that morning.

How can I get to orientation?
Great news!  We have made it possible for EVERYONE to come to orientation.  You can ride the bus to school for orientation.  Parents - you should have received bus information in the mail.  Please contact the school if you are unsure about pick-up times or locations.

Can't make it to orientation?
Homeroom lists will be posted on the north and south entrance windows on August 16th.

What about the parents?  They would like to meet the teachers also but orientation is for students only.
Don't worry.  We have scheduled a special PARENTS ONLY  curriculum night for Tuesday, September 10.  This is designed for parents to meet the teachers and learn about the coursework and academic expectations at BMS.

I have to pay to go to school?
Yes, unfortunately, you must pay for items such as your agenda, art supplies, Language Arts books, etc.  You can pay your fees in the nouth office.  Please make checks payable to Bunsold Middle School and please include your child's name and grade level.  7th grade fees are $46.00 and 8th grade fees are $38.00 this year.  Fees can be paid anytime in the north office.  Checks should be made payable to Bunsold Middle School and it would be helpful to include the student's name and grade level on the check.

What about sports?  Can I play sports?
Fall sports are already underway.  For more information, call the school office at 642-1721 or check out the BMS website.  Physical forms are available in the office or on the website.

How does the cafeteria work?
The cafeteria offers both lunch and a grab and go breakfast.  Students can pay as they go in the line, or set up pre-pay accounts by bringing checks to school, mailing it to the Marysville Food Service, or paying on-line.  You will need your 5 digit pin number which can be found on your schedule form.  Students can also pick up applications for free and reduced lunch in the BMS Office
