Educational Tour

In addition to the obvious historic and cultural education students received, they also had opportunities to practice important life skills, working with foreign currencies and several students received their first experience not only in international travel but flying for the first
time. Eating the food provided without choices proved interesting as well as the time to order food from food stands or restaurants.

The 2015 tour will be to France for tours of Paris, Normandy, the Loire valley and surrounding areas. Information is on the high school website on the International studies club page.

This is an excerpt from an email our on-tour director sent after our tour:
…I just wanted to thank you so very much for a wonderful tour!!! I know, usually
it is your turn to thank me at the end of a tour, but this time it is just different. It has been wonderful with you. You have made this tour a wonderful experience for this kids too. So it was not all just me or the "design of
the tour". It has been our perfect cooperation, this "Witzky group, come here"! So we could even enjoy it ourselves to the fullest extent.

And if you asked me, if I wanted to do a tour with you again - no matter where  - I would definitely say yes!

The hotel manager comments:
…When you were all sitting in the lobby waiting for our bus going to the airport, I spoke to the Budapest hotel desk manager on duty to thank them for the great rooms and breakfast buffet. He told me that "with the 1,000
teens in the hotel they all appreciated our group and that teens like you make a big difference in their jobs...not all teens were as considerate." Several of you said thanks to the desk manager
as you left -- hopefully you noticed the expression on his face. It
appeared he realized how special you guys are!..... Bingman

Respectfully,
