1. How many students are currently enrolled at Navin?
**Although enrollment varies, there are approximately 410 students at Navin.
2. How many grade levels are there?
**We have grades K-4.
3. What is the average class size?
**22-28 students
4. Do you have All-Day-Every-Day Kindergarten?
Yes.
5. Do you have a Special Needs Preschool Program?
Yes; opening in January, 2023
5. What method/approach is used to teach reading?
**The Marysville School District utilizes the Science of Reading, which includes the pedagogy and practices proven by extensive research to effectively teach children how to read.
We also utilize the online program iREADY as a piece of instruction to further meet students where they are and provide both support and challenges to help them grow.
6. Which math program is used at Navin?
Navin's math instruction follows a "Math Workshop" approach, which includes the following: Number Talks, Mini Lesson on the grade level standard(s), Small group instruction, rich math tasks and iREADY (math) to enrich, engage and challenge students.
7. What is "Unified Arts"?
**Unified Arts refers to instruction in Music, Physical Education, Art , Library and Computer Lab.
8. Does Navin have a PTA/PTO?
