Welcome to the Marysville Exempted Village Schools website. Located in Union County, Marysville schools are one of the top school districts in Central Ohio, with a strong track record of academic achievement and growth. We are proud to share with you our accomplishments and the value we bring to the Marysville community. 

A great education is the cornerstone of this community. It is why families live and businesses choose to locate in Marysville. Our community and schools work collaboratively and support each other - ensuring students have access to high quality programs and opportunities so that our young people are prepared for great careers and bright futures. In fact, our graduation rate is 96% and our students are set up for success as they choose to enter the workforce, enlist in the military or continue their education in college. 

The community and schools also understand that academic achievement begins with a high quality teacher in the classroom.  Over 70% of our teachers have a master’s degree or more. 

We believe that success in schools goes beyond test scores, and that’s why we work closely with our staff and parents to provide an environment that is centered on the individual needs of every student. Marysville schools offer classes and programs beyond the basics, including but not limited to variety of AP courses, college credit plus courses, and Ohio High Point Career Center satellite programs in agribusiness and production systems, automotive technology, performing arts, supply chain management, allied health and nursing, engineering, and information technology.

Our schools also get excellent results at a reasonable cost to our taxpayers. Residents in the Marysville School District are fortunate to experience lower tax rates and lower per pupil costs when compared to peer districts in the area, while continually providing a high quality education for our students. Our schools are a great value for our residents.
